What to Expect

two hands in a handshake

When you visit Grace Community Church (GCC), greeters will meet you at the door, give you an information package and church bulletin and show you around the church if you like.

a clock with the hands showing ten o'clock

Our Sunday Service begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.. Some people dress up and others dress casually. We only ask that everyone dress modestly.

Hymn song and music sheets

After a few brief announcements, we worship for about 20-25 minutes, with a mixture of hymns and contemporary Christian music that is Christ-centered.

Communion bread and a cup of wine with a cross on it

Following worship, on the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate the Lord's Table (Communion), then we lift up prayer requests submitted by the congregation on cards filled out before the service.

a hand offering tithes

We do believe God's people should financially support their local church, but we don't beg for money. We consider the Sunday offering to be a part of our worship.

Normally at the Sunday morning service the pastor teaches expositorily; that is, verse-by-verse through the Bible. The teaching lasts about 40 minutes.

a cup of coffee and two bagels

After a closing song and prayer, we invite you to hang around and enjoy some coffee, juice and bagels with us in Fellowship Hall where we can get to know you better.
